So I made an attempt to refurbish my fuel tank level sensor tonight to no avail.

I cleaned the resistor with deoxit, bent the contact arm, brushed it with scotchbrite and held the arm down while moving the float.   It always reads in the 1,600 ohm range.

 

Rockauto, Oriley, Napa, and autozone do not have a listing for such a part.

 

The brat is a little special in that it uses a unique tank and a side mount sensor.

 

Anyone know where to find a fuel tank sending unit?

Any luck with universal parts?

Doesn't the EA 81 Wagon use the same sensor at the back of the tank, I seem to remember they do last time I was under one at the Pull A Part
