2003 subaru legacy wagon accelerator sensor

Featured Replies

hi all

I am new owner of a 2003 Subaru legacy 2.0GT wagon, I am now experiencing a problem with the accelerator sensor, it is not responding

took it to the shop where it was hooked up to a computer which said the "accelerator sensor is running low". I have changed the sensor but the problem still exist. can someone help??

It would be better if you could give us the actual code number.

If you replaced the throttle position sensor on the side of the throttle body, the sensor needs to be adjusted so the computer gets the correct voltage signal when the throttle is closed. If the voltage signal is too high or too low it will set codes for the sensor and cause driveability problems.
