Checked fuses.dash switch.no blinkers or 4ways.lights are rigged up.just about ready to give up and sell it,any help

What about the blinker relay?  And what car?

One of the most over looked items when the 4 ways or turn signals quit working. 

Where is the relay.97 legacy 4 door sedan.2.2 automatic.

Replaced relays.no luck.done with it.lights and all kinds of wires spliced..thanks anyways

I don't know what the story is on this car, but if it has a decent body and motor it's really not worth giving up on.  Around here a 97 Legacy is worth $2k with problems, more if it runs well and doesn't have problems.  Don't know about where your at.

Hazard switch is bad.

Replaced that.and all fuses.all bulbs.no dome lights.no memory on radio.

Brights on all the time.or were on.no dash lights

Dash lights are all done by the illumination control module which is known to burn out. Especially if someone put an aftermarket radio in it and hooked up the dimmer wire.

 

Dome light is usually pretty easy to figure out. It either has power or it doesn't. A test light at the bulb will tell you that. If the Door indicator in the cluster works when a door is open, the fuses are good and the problem is just with the dome light or the wiring to it.

 

Hi beams stuck on, and the signals don't work, could be damaged signal switch in the column. Are there a bunch of splices under the dash? Does it look like there was an aftermarket alarm module installed or anything like that?

No alarm.where is the other relay at

Got lights to work and dash lights.and turn lights on off.and tail lights

What years will fit the 97 blinker arm light.

Probably 96-98.

Which other relay? The signal flasher? Pretty sure there's only one near the fuse panel under the dash.
