Hi all,

I had a question I was hoping you could help me with. I had a 2011 Legacy. I liked the car, except that when I'd accelerate to and then brake from about 15 mph, there was this startling lurch or kickdown feeling from the transmission. The dealer insisted it was a normal characteristic of the CVT.

I'm looking for a new car and am considering a 2015 Legacy, but only if this is no longer an issue for the transmission.

Are you noticing this with your 2015s?

Why not just go test drive one and find out? You understand the problem and symptim. A single test drive and you could test for it. :-)
