We recently noticed that our 2011 Outback makes a "beep beep" sound when turning on the ignition, like the beep you hear when you use the remote to unlock the car. I thought I might be pressing one of the buttons on the key so I made sure I wasn't.   We asked this question at our Subaru dealership and were told it's because of our navigation system.  So we unplugged our Garmin but it still beeped when we started it.  It doesn't seem like a serious problem but we'd like to know why it's happening.
