Hi all. I've got my 79 wagon all dialed in. Found a windshield locally in phoenix as for $220 new. But the glass guy can't get the rubber gasket that goes around the glass. The other killer is, I would like to replace the gasket around the back window. Does anyone know where the rubber may be able to be purchase new? Did find precision restoration on line but no back glass gasket and no chrome/locking strip for front or rear. Short of checking eBay every day, anyone known to be sitting on a pile of the stuff.that was a joke. Any help would be great

I'm not running the chrome strip on the winshield or rear glass and haven't had any issues. 

Good to know. I thought is was mostly cosmetic

Beetle rear window gasket works perfectly on the wagon rear (with a little stretching).
