First post! But not my first subaru. So just bought a 2014 impreza that has a rebuilt title so no warranty. It is leaking oil as you can see from the pic. It's coming from the top one. Is this just remove the 2 bolts and replace the seal?

 

Correction it's the AVCS solenoid sensor

 

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Fyi it was a bad o ring

Was the o-ring cut or had it got hard and cracked?
