capewaveride
This hill hold brake set up on my 2004 Forester is really annoying. It engages every time I stop and makes it difficult to pull away smoothly, whether I'm on a hill or not. Some one told me that it can be adjusted, but the dealer said it can't. What's the deal, can I adjust it or unplug it?
Soobadooba
Capewaveride- A. It CAN be adjusted. There is an adjuster nut and locknut at the hill holder valve assembly in the engine compartment. B. Your dealer is a d****ss. Find another one. Adjusting this one is really no different than adjusting ones on all the other hill holder equipped Subarus built in the last thousand years. If they can't even fix this, I can't imagine you being happy with any other issues brought to their attention.
