OEM Code Alarm Harness...Programming button missing a wire

Hi everyone,

 

Hopefully someone here can help me out...posted the same question on RS25 and on NASIOC without any luck.

 

So I've searched and searched, this topic in general has been discussed several times over the years...my programming button on the OEM Keyless system is gone. There should be two brown wires that used to hold the programming button, and in the case of a missing button/switch, the wires can just be crossed in order to simulate pressing the button in order to enter programming mode.

 

However, my issue is a bit different...upon looking at my harness, I only have one brown wire...took off all of the tape in order to find out where the other wire should have been spliced, or pinned elsewhere but I cannot find any evidence of the second wire.

 

Anyone here have an older model Impreza or other Subaru that used the Code Alarm System that has the factory keyless entry installed that could maybe take a pic, or describe where the two brown wires should be hooked up? I'd really appreciate it!!

 

As you can see in this photo, I only have the single wire that is pinned in the larger plug... Where should the second wire be???
