Flashing lights everywhere?

Featured Replies

Hello again folks. Fortunately for me, it is rare that we ever have problems with our Subys, at least ones that I cant rectify but one has me stumped. A couple of months ago coming home in my wifes 2010 OB the anti skid light, the e brake light, the cruise light and the check engine light came on. The car ran as it always does with zero change in idle acceleration or any other characteristic. So I came home and disconnected the positive cable from the battery terminal and everything was off and the car continued to operate as usual. Fast forward to a week ago, same issue, only this time I didn't unhook the battery but only turned the car off and when I restarted it after about an hour it was OK. Then a day later, yes, you guessed it, it started again. I unhooked the battery and they went off. So, we were on our way back home to Maryland from West Virginia  and made the entire trip without incident. My wife came home night before last with the same issue, same lights, unhooked the battery and they were off but now they are all on again.

Anyone have any ideas as to what in the world is going on??????? Any suggestions are greatly welcome.

Get the codes checked. Preferably engine and abs codes. Guessing at what it could be when it will talk to you is a waste of time.

Hey thanks. Youre the best.

X2 on getting it checked for codes. Also have the charging system checked.

On newer models the cruise control is disabled and the cruise light will begin to flash if the Check engine lamp comes on.
