Forester dies at stop sign

Featured Replies

On first trip of day (in winter), 2009 Forester dies at stop sign, usually preceded by rough idle & then check engine light goes on.  Happened shortly after battery placement.  Brought into dealer twice now; they did the "idle relearning" procedure, but it happened again.

Some questions for my curiosity and everyone's diagnostic help: Is your car an automatic or manual?
If it's an automatic can you try shifting into Neutral before stopping to see if the engine still dies?
Do you know what code the ECU is throwing to set off the check engine light?
