soopsoop
found out what the rear noise was. the rear wheel bearing on the drivers side is going out, it started to make noise leaving work and it got bad so i pulled into les schwab in colfax and they put it up on a lift and grabbed the rear tire on the drivers side and they could wiggle it around about two inches or so. i am going to call larry h. miller in spokane to see if they will fix it ...again. if they change one should they change on both sides? AdventureSubaru
Usually yes. They tend to fail at similar intervals, but if you're watching for it to fail eventually, there's nothing wrong with the "if it aint broke don't fix it" approach to wheel bearings. It's not like they will explode and cause an accident. They'll start growling long before safety is a factor.
