2012 Legacy 2.5I Premium

Featured Replies

Greetings ~ Looking to purchase Subaru Legacy.  Found a used 2012 Legacy with less than 30K miles.   Took it to my mechanic this afternoon for final OK.  They said that the flywheel cover was missing and that this may be an indicator of transmission issues???  Hunting various Subaru forums that suggest that

some cars didn't have them to begin with?  Does anyone out there have any knowledge on this topic.

Thank you.

The Legacy's don't have that cover.  There isn't one on my 2014 Legacy and I bought it new.  It was just last week when it was at the dealership for a new canister filter (under warranty) that I noticed it and they checked the parts diagram for the car and it is not there.  It is on the Outback though.  ???
