So here's my problem...

 

I just bought a 1993 Impreza 1.8 AWD 4 speed automatic wagon, but I can't get it to run correctly.

 

It will start kind of hard but once it warms up a bit it idles perfect.

 

But, when I put the car into any gear (be it reverse, 1st, drive, etc) the car will just die.

 

It seems to me like a computer/electrical glitch more than a mechanical one.

 

Is there a automatic tranny speed sensor or something of that sort I can check out and replace?
