Power Steering Leak

Featured Replies

Apparently one of my power steering lines has been rubbing against the inside engine wall for some time now. I found the leak however it is on one of the steel lines and I'm having trouble figuring out what it is called in order to buy the correct item. (I hate going to a parts store to discover the name only to purchase elsewhere)

If anyone has the Chilton manual the line is #4 of figure 147 on page 8-34. It is labeled as "Pipe D"

For everyone else, it's one of the long pipes under the car that connect to the steering fixture that is attached to the rack and pinion. Not the power steering pressure hose, that is the one that connects to the pump. The one I need is after the power steering pressure hose.

Thanks in advance!
