Electric mirror issue

99 Impreza L, 2.2 liter

 

Have an issue where neither left nor right mirrors will adjust from in the cabin. I have checked the fuse at this point and that is good.

 

Before I start really tearing into things I'm wondering if anyone knows of any inherent problems that I should check first?

Most of the time when both mirrors are affected it's the switch. Not hard to pop out of the dash. Take it out and disassemble it and clean up the contacts in the switch. Reassemble with some di-electric grease.
