June 17, 200421 yr First check the fuse in the fuse block under the dash, If that's good, take the radio out (just pull off the surround and you'll see the screws) and swap another from a junkyard in and see if it works. I bet its the fuse.
June 18, 200421 yr Jeez, no need to go all capitals on me. How was I supposed to know? Have you checked the fuse? Do other accesories work or is just the radio down? unplug the connector behind the radio and use a multimeter (or a taillight with a couple of wires soldered to it) to see if the radio is recieving 12volts. Check each of the pins against ground, one of them sould be live with the car off, and another with that one when the car is on. You could give more information on what you'd already done.
June 18, 200421 yr Author i didn't mean to put capitals my keyboard does that some times. i cheaked the the fuse and i have looked at the connections but it all looks good.
June 18, 200421 yr i had a similar problem (and i am lazy) so i went to circuit city and they put in a pioneer for me and now it works great.
