Merry Christmas everyone! :)

I'm currently installing a 4" lift in my L series/Loyale and was hoping that someone might be able to help me with the linkage part of this.

I understand that I need to extend the 4wd selector and gear selector levers although I am unsure exactly how to go about dropping the plate that the gear linkages attach to. The bolt that the plate affixes to is welded in and I can't drill it out.

I'm hoping someone has done this before and can tell me how to go about it.
