vss wiring problem

Hay all

Don't no if you have seen my build

Brumby with mid mount bg5 engine.

Just having a problem with the vss wiring.

So the engine and wiring is out of a 1996 bg5 gt legacy.

Now on the wiring harness has a plug for the vss.

Q: do I still use that plug and plug it in?

Also we have removed the TCU as prescribed and now are trying to wire that up.

But all I read is that you wire it to the vss? (confusing as it has that plug)

So I no we need a 5volt power source to run that vss,

So we nick a power wire, earth wire, signal wire from the tcu plugs.

But what now?

Do i need to wire them to vss or dash or?

The good news I have a ecu pinout for a 1997 gt legacy (thats helps alot) but no tcu pinout.

Pin for me are looking from the wire side.
