July 29, 200421 yr Hi ALL again! I don't yet have a service manual for my '97 Gt legacy wagon. My back lighting for the heater control doesn't work! I assume that the bulb is dead. I don't want to experiment in the removal of the plastic buttons, face plate, etc. So, just what size bulb is it? What do you have to do to get to it? Many, Many, thanks, SubeeTed
July 29, 200421 yr http://www.randomsoup.com/how_acpanelbulbs.html I used 12 volt bulbs from Radio shack that have long leads on them. They are smaller but still work, and I left off the green rubber jackets that are on the subie bulbs.
