any experienced builders out there found a sweet ring gap ?

Basic theory is about 12 thou for 92mm bores, up to 19 thou for harder working, mildly hotted up or turbo engines.

The factory manuals even list a maximum of about 60 thou, and std being around 7 thou up to I forget ...40 thou?
