Hello, I was just wondering if the tires on my 84 BRAT GL are the stock size, mine are 170/70/R13.

why would someone put smaller tires on it?

Because they didn't know any better? Because the tires were on sale? Because they had no idea what they needed and the clerk at the tire shop screwed up? Could be lots of reasons. Long as you realize that the speedometer is incorrect there's no harm in driving on them, that is if they're all the same size.
