my carb is running way to rich i can smell the gas on start up..anybody have some info for me.....after start up she levels to 1k...iam going thru gas like crazy

sounds like you might need to adjust your idle mixture screw which is located on the front of the carb at the bottom. If you adjust it in, you run leaner, if you screw it out, it'll run richer.

i had it adjusted about 1 1/2 wks ago....it was factory set had it opened...the trouble i see is the gas smell i took the a/f cover off and there was gas on the a/f....:-\
