2000 Legacy L - uses 205/60r15 tires, can I go to 205/70r15 without rubbing?

Featured Replies

I have the opportunity to get some nicer rims (not steelies with crappy platic covers like I have now) and very good Bridgestone tires for cheap.

They are 205/70r15, not the 205/60r15 that are on it now (and are the OEM spec).

Will I get rubbing?
I know my speedo will be a bit whacky, but that's OK with me.
The offsets on the rim are 55mm which is fine, so that's OK.

Here's the specs differences: (main issue: the 205/70r15 is 41mm or 1.61" larger in diameter)
