does any one know where to get wiring diagrams that are readable? on my British cars there a lots of them available I get them blown up and laminated  so much easier to work with

Full service manuals, so anything you'd want to do with the car can be found here. I'd recommend saving up for a hardcopy as it's nice to have on hand. They pop up on eBay from time to time and sometimes for a really good price. Also if you're serious about repairs, keep your eyes peeled for a parts catalog as this will make tracking down parts easier.
