genetgenet
Hi I bought a subaru Outback Wagon with problems like the topic reads. It´s a 2.5l engine with a MAP sensor if it helps. At first i had a P0030 code and replaced the oxygen sensor and everything ran fine. A few days later i got a new code P0134. I had some leaks in the exhaust system that i fixed. I might still have a small leak before the sensors. Can this cause P0134? If so i don´t understand how that would work, it should still get reading right Another problem is the when i was at the car inspection that the co level was at 3.3 (ppm?) should be 0.2. At idle it was 0.2. Is this related to the error code?
genetgenet
I have been searching around and checking connections inside the ecu. Someone has been doing home soldering on the ecu but it looks fine. I have followed all the Connections down to the connecting point of the connectors and know that i have no problems with the wiring for the front o2 sensor. I tried to find ground to the sensors and found that the rear sensor gets ground from the manifold grounding cables. I could not find where the front sensor gets ground from?. genetgenet
Update: I checked for leaks with a vacuum cleaner from the exhaust, no leaks. Replaced with a new MAP sensor, spark plugs, spark cables, rear sensor. Cleaned intake manifold, calibrated the throttle sensor that was buzzing. Took it for a spin and it went great. Code did not come back after obs reser. Got it through through car inspection on 2500rpm this time. When i came back home the idling is going a little up and down between 3 second intervall. I will check for vacuum leaks.
