i posted about this before , and was asked for pics.

 

this is the bottom of a head from a supposedly JDM engine you can see the sleeve or whatever you want to call it is seriously in trouble. what to do? i want to use this head, cause i was told it is not your run of the mill ea71 head. maybe it aint. but whatever.

 

can you (not really you, but somebody who can work on heads) get in there and remove that entire lining? i imagine that would make for better flow.

if I can see more pics of the head I might be able to tell you if it is a regular EA71 head or not but looking at it, it appears to be just a regular EA71 head. I got a couple of these and one set has brand new intake valve seals in them:D

That is really trippy I guess I never looked inside an ea-71 before.
