September 5, 200421 yr Hi Everybody, Well, I have a stalling problem with my Chaser. When I start the car in the morning and drive for about 200 metres, the car stalls out. Sometimes I can save it by gearing down, but most of the time, the engine goes off and I have to wait about ten minutes to start again. So, it appears that the car gets flooded. However, sometimes after driving for awhile, the car does the same thing and I have the feeling it doesn't get enough gas. My Chaser has a carburetor and an automatic choke. Any ideas? Help would be appreciated, Idle Hans

July 14, 200619 yr Hey - mine does the same thing. Usually if I let it warm up for 90 seconds or so with the RPM's around 2000 and then drive its fine.
