Featured Replies

I got a CEL code P1507.

The reader only said Driveable -undefined code-.

A friend of mine works at a Mitsu dealer and he pulled it for me. but he doesnt have the codes for subes. He erased it and the CEL didnt come back on when i re started. But i still want to know what it is. My warranty is VERRY close to being up so if somthing is going to go wrong i want to know so i can get it corrected.

I found out what it was at this site

http://home.earthlink.net/~opiewho1/subaru_obd2_codes.htm

its a pretty good resource.

Anyway my problem was an Idle Control system malfunction.

I did notice it ideling a little high. but once it warmed up it was fine.

I had started the car and turned it off this morning before it warmed up, and the CEL tripped when i started it back up a little while later. It was cold here this morning so i can see how this could have temporarily caused a system problem.

anyway it is fine now. so thanks for reading my post.
