i pulled my cv shaft but now i cant get the pin to line up its a new shatf and pin any help would be great i can get it were i can drop my 3/16 punch right down it but still the pin wont go

i pulled my cv shaft but now i cant get the pin to line up its a new shatf and pin any help would be great i can get it were i can drop my 3/16 punch right down it but still the pin wont go

there is only one way the cv will slip on the splines so the pin will fit. try and rotate the axl 180degrees ether that or your a spline off and need to rotate it just a little bit more ether way. thats what i found out when i changed mine this summer.
