Hi

As a first time Subaru owner and someone who works on their own cars I don't have any repair manuals for this car. Can someone give me an idea or web site where I can buy a service manual for a 2005 Forester. (other than Haynes or Chiltons)

Also other than fluid changes, what typical maintenance can I be expect to be needed for this car? Is there any problems or issues related to this vehicle?

Either put out the $300-400 from the dealer, or go to Ebay. From time to time someone puts up a CD-Rom which has the Factory Manuals on it. Usually $20-40.
