November 10, 200421 yr Lifter problems! I bought my "98 Forester with 67K miles knowing that it had a light lifter peck when it's cold out. It hasn't gotten any worse really but it is annoying and from what I'm told it seems to be a common thing. So does anyone know did Subaru ever address this issue?? Thanks!!

November 11, 200421 yr If a dealer did it then it would be on file. Call your local dealer and politly ask them. See if they can help. If they have no record then make an apointment and get it done.
