Hi all!

My 1997 Legacy 2.5 Ltr Gt is having running problems. Sometimes in lower gears (it's a 5 Spd) it surges, hard to get smooth ride, I'm just slowly moving along when this happens. At 5th gear, with your going up a hill, it starts to hestitate, doesn't relly react to more throttle, I'll have to down shift. Are these O2 Sensor problems? I don't have a check engine light on right now.....I did a few weeks ago, I cleared IT at my mechanics. It was something about a bad reading from the CAT. We cleared code, hasn't come back. ANy hints????
