Where is ATF Filter Located?

From reading various posts I undestand that newer Legacies/Outbacks have a disposable ATF filter. I am about to change the ATF in my wife's '03 H6 sedan. I have the car up on jack stands but do not see the ATF filter. Can someone tell me where it is located?

I don't know for certain on your car, but on our outback it's located on the left side just above the front corner of the tranny pan.

It is located in the left front fender , you access it through/ under the inner fender liner . It is just behind the left head light assembly
