Hi,

Where exactly is the engine number stamped on the block of a 2.2 1993/1994 Legacy station wagon. Anyone? Please! It's pretty urgent. I have a bunch of guys inspecting my car and I cannot get it registered without this.

What are you needing? The whole long engine numbers, or just the part where it says EJ22?

 

The part where it says EJ22 is right below to the left of the alternator. Look to the left of the alternator, and then look down at the block.

Hi,

It's the "normal" number of the engine which is stated in car ownership papers in Europe. Where exactly would fig.15 be? Towards the radiator or towards the gearbox?

It's just above the starter on the top edge of the block
