Can someone tell me how to disassemble the shift-lever console on this vehicle.

The button on the lever doesn't release sometimes (usually when cold). If I wiggle it around while pressing the button, it will unlock. I'm thinking there may be something sticky (think The Pespsi Syndrome) on the solenoid that causes this. If I could peek inside, maybe I could better tell, and perhaps even clean it up a little. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
