Maybe your throttle cable is wrapped like a spaghetti noodle, around your 4wd selector lever and the steering linkage, on its way to the carb...? :-p

hahahhahahahahhaha nope...I cant find any electrical control functions that would cause this as result of a failure...kind of stumped....
