Any other VT subie junkies in here?

Featured Replies

Not that I want to have a picnic or anything... but seems like there's gotta be some other Subie addicts in the early stages of Green Mountain Shack Wack floating around in here. Always good to know locals with the same affliction!

Cheers!

Kudd

Hey man, I live in NY, but I work up in Richmond, VT.

Hopefully I will be moving over to Vermont soon.

I'm definately a Subie addict, I've got a 98' OBS and an 88' Hatch!

Do you know of any good junk yards in VT? Most up here have crushed there 80s Subes...

Anyway, nice to "meet" ya!

Hey Ryan,

There's a few yards I hit up... results vary.

Rathe in Colchester, B&M in Milton, J&A in Charlotte. You can also get parts from Juction Auto, New Haven (used to be Jct Subie...they have quite a stash and don't rape ya too bad) and Auto Creek in Vergennes. I can give ya phone numbers if ya want.

Where in NY?...and that's quite a commute! I spend alot of time in Essex County on my bike in the summer...great roads and reasonable speed limits!

Cheers!

Kudd

Hi Kudd,

Thanks for the info on the yards, I'll definately be looking into them in the near future.

I'm actually right in Essex County, Mineville to be exact. It is a terrible commute but a good job that I just started. I'm going to look at a place in Jericho Center this friday (or maybe tomorrow on lunch...) I actually love it where I live now but it is a ridiculous commute, so looks like I'm going to be a Vermonter.

Seeya around!

Ryan
