So the power light is blinking 16 times evertime I turn the car on. I figure I will just run in FWD so I installed the fuse and it will only work in reverse and first. The lever will be in "D" but it doesn't shift out of first gear. To this I say...WTF!!!

 

I am assuming the tranny is farked. I plan on purchasing a 97 Kia so the roo will go on standby after the FL meet and greet. I am planning on doing the wrx/6 speed swap.

 

I am also going to paint it WR Blue pearl. I know it is going to take some time....but I have nothing but.

Only having one gear may be some sort of limp home mode. Obviously the computer is having some sort of problem, there may not be any problem with the transmission itself.

Pull the codes from the TCU and see what codes it's throwing. Instructions are on my site.
