95 legacy keyless module mystery

Featured Replies

I have a 1995 Legacy Sedan LSi. I noticed it had a security light left of the steering wheel and assumed it had factory security system. It did not come with any remotes. So i bought one on ebay and went undereath the dash looking for the button to program the remote. I can't find it! I've looked everywhere and I cant even find a module that would be for a keyless entry. Is it possible that the light on the dash is just a dummy light? I figured that the lsi model would come with at least keyless entry.

I had a 96 Legacy Outback and had no problem finding the module for that one to program the remote I bought off ebay for it.

According to the other posts on this site I searched this car should have the code alarm system.

Any help or suggestions appreciated.

Thanks
