My 1.8 liter impreza wagon, has a hard time shifting out of second, unless i remove all presure from the gas pedal. If i keep on the pedal, the tranny will stay in second gear, and the rpm limiter kicks in. This does not happen from 1rst to 2nd, nor 3rd, to I assume overdrive. Could this have anything to do with fluid levels? Or is this something that all automatic trannys eventually do? 175,000 miles
