I have a 97' legacey outback. cant get the car to reset(disconnected the battery, flashing lights) have went through different reset methods. It is not resetting with the reset button, and i do not have a remote. I've talked to at least ten suby techs, and they all tell me the same thing. If anyone has any info, or tricks on how to reset theese cars, it would be much appriated!!!!!!!!!

I recollect reading: Disconnect negative of battery, put key in ignition to on and connect it back on with key in ignition. Do a search and you will find the tricks.

This worked for me and solved my problem -- thanks for the info!
