Allright dumb qustion I know but I can get the old headlamp out of the headlight. any trick to it?

what bulb type do you have? The 9004 bulbs have a color that you need to unscrew. The H4 bulbs, you remove the connector, and the protective rubber boot, and there's two metal clips....squeeze them together and move the clip out of the way, then remove the bulb.
