My mechanic confirmed that I have nothing wrong with my gear shift. It appears that the release button is tempermental and I have to play with it before it will release in temperatures below 50 degrees. My Leagcy L wagon is a 1999 automatic model with 84,500 miles. Is this fixable and what am I looking at in expense?
