i was driving my xt back from town, and i went to shift and the pedel was lighter than normal for a few miles, then it went back to how it was. then a little later down the road at a stoplight the clutch as i was engauging it made liek it was slipping. through first and seccond. but in the upper gears it ran just fine. any thoughts?

But maybe you have cable issues; how light is the clutch effort normally? My new-to-me XT only requires 5-10 pounds of pressure to operate the clutch, whereas my other EA82's feel like 30-40 lbs. I think the difference is clutch cable degradation and possibly routing.
