engine mount bolts missing

Featured Replies

While looking for an oil leak I noticed that the motor mount (closest to my oil pan) on my 91 loyale was loose and I appears the bolts are no longer there. What kind of damage can this cause? And how do i get everything back together / llned up? Also I found a leak on the left side of the engine (when looking at the windshield) does anyone know what this area is called so i can get a new seal for it. It has subaru written on it I believe 4 bolts hold it in place vertically. Thanks guys

Sounds like your valve cover is leaking. Theres just a rubber gasket.

The motor mount should be fixed ASAP but really probably wasn't hurt by this. I think its an M10 x 1.25 bolt, just install it in there and you should be good.
