Matt kennedy
Just took my 93 legacy out for the test run after replacing the timing belt. The tensioner bolt had broken off on the highway. Fortunately the 2.2l engine is a noninerference type. I replaced the belt, tendsioner idler as well as the other 2 pulleys and the sproket along with all new bolts. It took 2 trys to get the belt on properly. On the first try I forgot to slide the tensioner to the left before pulling the pin. I also replaced the valve cover and oil filler tube gaskets and put in new plugs. The t-belt, shaft seals, oil pump seal and water pump were all done about 40K ago so I didn't bother with them. Thanks for all the advice and great links/writeups. Matt
