April 13, 200520 yr Does anyone know what all of the issues are with the 2003 forester? I was told by the service manager that unless it is a safety issue Subaru does not have to inform the customer of known problems. I know about the jerky clutch in first gear on the standards( mine was replaced), the piston skirt slap (my dealer has ordered me new pistons etc.), what else do I have to look forward to with this car? It has been one problem after another. Also my brakes have been squeeking since I bought the car new everytime it gets humid or wet. It also has new front struts they were bad so dealer replaced them. The car is still making a rattling noise in the left front everytime I go over a bump. The hub caps are rusting. I can go on and on. When is a car considered a lemon and you can repace it? Thanks Flyingvisions
