hey im a newbie here, still driving my 93 sentra se-r and i have been searching for a little while and i was wondering , my friend has a 2003 WRX and he just upgraded all his turbo related parts in his engine bay, piping, IC, lines, turbo, etc. well i was wondering what other subarus have the same engine as the wrx, or engine that would be compatible with everything including the manifold? so i could swap the turbo parts from his 03 to a different, more sleeper subaru, cheers, ryan

Theres nothing that has the exact same setup as the WRX..

 

If you decide to use the EJ20 from a wrx in another subaru, you can put it in nearly any subaru from the 70s and up.. it all just depends on how much modification you want to do.

 

If you intend to put the motor in another impreza or legacy, you will still need the wiring harness, ECU, exhaust and random other assorted bits.
