just called closest suby dealer about doing a valve adj. on 98 outback wagon 100,000 miles said they had never done one because they never need it has anyone had this done and how much/how long does it take any help appr.

This thread has a lot of information about what you're asking about. I'm at 112K miles now and still haven't had this done, but I've wondered the same thing too.

steve cant say i have not sure if h/g are blown or not, i drained /refilled rad. i think there was air trapped in block car runs great and does not overheat at all but there does seem to be some black particles in coolant tank took it off cleaned it out put it back on found some new part. today could they come from rad. no bubbles in tank old saying run and watch it any ideas thanks geo
